I was given the freedom of suggesting a design for future learning spaces for the Za’atari refugee camp. As part of the design I was asked to consider –
What do I want my space to look like?
What do I want it to achieve?
Who inhabits it?
Part of my explanation is best communicated through a slideshow I have created. In this, I outline why I feel that Za’atari’s learning spaces urgently need to be improved, and what the future learning spaces need to incorporate for the short and long-term benefits of both the students and educators.
